Local leader offering unmatched support
One of the leading international developers of specialised centrifuges, used in a wide range of industrial dewatering, separation and resource-recovery roles, Christchurch-based GTech offers unparalleled service and support for local government and businesses.
Established in 1989, GTech has built an international reputation for not only the quality of its hard-wearing machines — used around the world - and the technology behind them, but also its focus on after-market service, parts supply and support. Based in Christchurch, where the company employs 36 staff in its specialised design and engineering hub, the business also has a branch in Houston, Texas, to serve a growing international demand.
The company's continued focus on the New Zealand market as a centre for product design and development means local councils, project managers and businesses have the benefit of comprehensive on-the-ground support. GTech's expert service technicians are available 24/7, with a full spares library available and major upgrades and repairs able to be carried out in the company's Christchurch facility.
Any possible disruption and downtime is also minimised by the quality of GTech's machines. Designing and building for extremely testing industrial environments, GTech is an ISO9001 accredited manufacturer, using the highest quality materials in the construction of its centrifuges. Rotating assembly components are manufactured from forged and centrifugally cast 316 and 2205 grade stainless steel, sourced from Germany and Switzerland. Conveyors, frames and hoppers are fabricated using robotic welding followed by precision machining on modern CNC machine tools.
To support the evolving demands of the sector, especially for highly regulated environmental management and resource recovery projects, GTech has also focused on continuous technology improvement, designed to increase automation, provide greater management and monitoring options and reduce maintenance. All GTech decanters are supplied with a full controls package, which includes motor VFDs, PLC, safety circuits, sensors and operator HMI. The machine control can be accessed remotely for monitoring. GTech's proprietary software, which features conveyor drive torque sensing, also allows for virtual ‘lights out’ operation.
Where quality, value and reliability matter, especially in handling vital processes like water management and quality, GTech offers a broad range of leading-edge centrifuges, supported by local experts, parts and equipment.
